Do you know what I hide inside? An urge to tear everything apart, A thought of catching a butterfly Everything in a dilemma. Not everything in the world make sense Not me, Not you, No human. Maybe I am just a lie and a truth Maybe nothing in the world make sense But when tomorrow comes, How different is it going to be? With every cloud passing by, I stand here, just the same. My mind still being a chaotic place My heart still grieving for moments of regret. With every morning I wait for a different sunrise I long for a moment to smile at And I wish for my weaknesses to be hidden Just for a day, I don’t want to be in a dilemma Just for a day, I want to cry less and laugh more Just for a day, I don’t want to betray myself when darkness prevails me. // Her
Let it be that when people are down; you are such a one to look to and get cheerful once again. Let it be that when people are discouraged; you are the one that they can draw enough strength from to resist doubt steadfastly. Let it be that you are the source of light when someone is passing through his/her darkest hour. Be the light at the end of someone's tunnel.
"Ummm, if you'd asked me a few months back, I'd have declared it impossible!", I exclaimed. "Well, I had probably asked.", She chuckled. I laughed lightly and a momentary silence prevailed. . "Why do you love me?", I quivered. . "Again! Again! Take a break and stop fooling with me!", She exclaimed. . "No! I'm serious. Why do you love me? Tell me. What did you find in me? What on earth did I do so special for you to fall for me? Tell me honey! Just be honest. I need to know whether my love is enough for you.", I bawled and again it was followed by a momentary pause. . . "My love for you? It's you in me and me in you. Love isn't a feeling, it's the air which I breathe in and you constitute it. You're the poem which rhymes with my existence, you're the tune which beats with my sighs, you're the light which beams through my core cracks, you're the hue which brightens up my soul.... . . And about you loving me enough? No you don't. You need to love me more every day. Look at me the way you've never looked at any other girl, kiss me as if it's your last kiss, hug me as if I'm your most priced possession, damn, love me as if you'd die the very next second. . . Be in my heart and let me flow through your veins!", She said. . The record ended and I turned off the player. I placed a bouquet on her grave and took out her handkerchief which was always with me. I touched it on the heart of the stone, kissed it, put it back in my pocket and started walking. As I reached for my car keys, I couldn't find the handkerchief in any of my pockets. Maybe, I'd dropped it there. I went back to get the piece of cloth and found it by the side of the stone. I picked it up to find red stains on it. Something was engraved with blood and it read... . . "Be in my heart and let me flow through your veins!", and my wrists were slit open. Sourav Dey.
