Autumn days on the road ... “Drive-by shooting” (1) 🌾🌫🌾 … Are you also fascinated by the drama of the dark and stormy clouds ?? 😚 ========================= The sight of an incoming storm can be both beautiful and ominous. In this photo series I show some of my landscape and cityscape photos that demonstrate the awesome power of nature. Ever since I was little, clouds have fascinated me ... I do know, that they’re just a simple little visible mass of condensed water vapor floating in the atmosphere, but I think they’re kinda mesmerizing, nonetheless 😁 As a child I would lay in the grass and imagine the fluffy white clouds as the gates to heaven … beyond which, the wonder of the universe was endless. And sometimes … they just looked like an animal or an ice cream cone ... I could dream for hours about these huge ice creams🍦😋 In school, I learned that clouds form when moist, warm rising air cools and expands in the atmosphere. When that water vapor condenses, it forms tiny little water droplets. After the cloud droplets form, they either collide with each other and grow by joining together. If those droplets grow too large, they will fall to the ground as rain or snow. Which is cool and all, but ... it’s the beauty of the cloud, the visual stimulation of the formation itself, what always makes me stop and photographing these wonders of nature – and lately storm clouds have especially intrigued me (maybe because we’re experiencing more storms over the last years ?? 🧐) with all their very darkness and drama … so here you are: a few examples of the power of the clouds on a dark and stormy – but yet very beautiful (in my opinion) – day in Denmark, where I live; I hope you like the photo series ☺️🙏📸).
