We go to Kirin seafood when we’re craving for Peking duck as they serve half portion. They normally serve 2 course one of which is this one in the picture. Peking duck roasted skin as thin as a paper wrapped in Chinese pancake best enjoyed with a touch of hoisin, cucumber and onion leek. #yummy#pekingduck#yvreats#foodie#gourmet#vancouverfoodie
📍 Green Leaf Cafe, Burnaby BC 🍛 Tornado Omelette Rice 💲 14.00 __ 💬 That egg... 🤤🤤 @greenleafcafeburnaby Overall, it was good but the dish wasn’t my favourite. I still prefer to come here for their oshi!
We’re thrilled for past vendor, @clairelivia and @piresjordan, for realizing their dreams and opening the doors to their new bakery and restaurant earlier this week. Looking forward to some fresh 🍞☕️ and coffee on our next visit to the Drive // 📷 @eva_mcm

WELL HOW BAO THIS | I found a hidden gem for 小笼包! You can find these really yummy and inexpensive xiao long baos.....at the @lansdownecentrebc food court!!! 😱 ___ At the food court stall R&H, nice aunties roll and hand make your pork dumplings, you get them in a bamboo steamer, and you know what, they taste great! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 ___ Lots of soup in them, highly recommend! What’s your favourite place for XLB, I wanna know!! 😊 ___ Also who watched that short clip of the Disney Bao movie where she straight up ate her son in the end.... 😐🤔🤯
first #DOVF of 2019, and it was so delicious! YEW is located in the @fourseasons right in the heart of downtown vancouver. Here is what I ordered: 1. Tuna crudo 2. Prawn and wild mushroom pasta 3. Iced cappuccino . . . .
Tea time is the best time of the day 💕 one of the best tea sets I've had in the city overall for value @lapetitecuillere 💕 there's a lot more flashier and luxurious tea sets being offered now but this one is a good choice for those who prefer traditional 3-tier trays and vintage tea ware. More on the blog 💕 xoxo, Mimi
New individual hot pot place with brown sugar bubble tea? SIGN ME UP🤤 (Except it wasn’t that good at all lol) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ FIRST OF ALL, the bubble tea had no taste at all- all I tasted was milk so it was quite expensive for $6. My friends mango drink was really good though! It tastes exactly like a mango saga in a drink form😍 As for the hot pot part, the soup tasted more like water the flavours weren’t in yet. And they only had 2 sauces that tasted pretty watered down too. So yeah... not sure if I would recommend. But if I was in Aberdeen and was craving hot pot I wouldn’t mind going😂 #Vancouvereats xTinyOne

Dinner tonight: homemade sirloin meatballs with mushrooms and tomato sauce served over spaghetti topped with grated grana pandano. The secret to moist meatballs is mixing a piece of bread soaked with milk into the ground beef. #homecookingisthebest#vancouverfoodie#italiancheese
The only noods I wanna see 😂 || This is meat sauce with bean noodle (豌豆杂酱面) ______ You have the option of getting it with soup or dry. I personally prefer mine without soup cause the chewiness of the mixes really well with the spicy flavour when dry! 😍 • • Also don’t be fooled by their English name, it’s called Qin Ma Grill in English but there ain’t no grilling going on here 😂 I guess that’s when you know a Chinese restaurant is gonna be 💣! When the name and food don’t match! 😆 Their menu consists solely of authentic Sichuanese noodles (Chongqing Noodles 重庆小面）and cold dishes! If you love numb and spicy then you gotta check this place out! 🌶 Their noodles come out literally a second after your order so it’s great for a quick meal! • • Do you like the numbing spicy flavour? #foodwithzee
@hotchocolatefest I'm at @chezchristophe with their "Strawberry Fields Forever". It's a dark chocolate with hints of strawberry and paired with strawberry s'mores. For the drink, we found most of the strawberry flavour to be near the top foam layer, while the s'mores only had the slightest hint of strawberry and didn't have the second graham cracker layer. We wanted to try their other hot chocolate as well (a lemon honey white chocolate), but they were out of whipped cream. #hotchocolatefest
Finally got around to eating at Ramen Danbo over on Robson. Got their Shio Chashu-men with soft boiled egg on the side (of course). I can finally see why my friends have nonstop been recommending this place. Great ramen, great service, and overall a quick in and out experience. I have been opting for light broths recently because standard has been too rich and I’ve definitely been enjoying it more. What’s your favourite ramen place?
