CHANGE is inevitable but TRANSFORMATION is a CHOICE!!! . . We cannot avoid change- it happens whether we want it or not. But we can choose to allow the change to transform us in a positive way. It is totally up to you which direction you want to go in!!! . . I choose to transform myself not just physically but to grow in mindset, nutrition and in strength!!
Sorry not sorry 😐 for canceling my plans. What a good day to stay in, buried under blankets, writing and painting the day away. As I stay warm it’s important to remember that thousands of homeless New Yorkers struggle to survive on the streets every night. As winter ❄️ gets cold, high winds, frigid temperatures, snow, and freezing rain can put homeless New Yorkers at risk of life-threatening illnesses like hypothermia and frostbite. Check out this informative from The Coalition for the Homeless on how you can help during Code Blue conditions. KJ‘s trying to understand why people willingly choose to tolerate this cold & I’m wondering how many more years it’s going to take for me to get used to winters in NY 🥶. . . I hope you guys were able to stay warm through this brutally cold weather today! Thankfully tomorrow should be much more tolerable 🙏🏼
Last year’s snowstorm > This year’s snowstorm ❄️ Henry was only two weeks old and we were on our way to a local burger spot. I miss the city but I love our life in the burbs. It’s only the beginning of the winter season and I can’t wait to have our first real snow so the boys can play in the yard. But after that, I’m moving south! Who’s with me? #snowday#myfamily#boymom#winterinnyc
So good I just had to repost! Susan you are the best at depicting the true character of New York. Thank you for sharing ・・・ I always miss NYC whenever I'm away. Coming home never gets old. One more West Village snow pic to tide me over...❄️ #ilovenyc#winterinnyc#socharming#prettycitynewyork
Today’s selfie is brought to you by, This Weather Sucks, as indicated by the icicles in the second picture at my underground subway station. For all of my clients out and about in this weather, and my friends, and myself, the body’s natural inclination in sub-zero temperatures is to tighten and contract. To combat this, wear lots of layers and keep reminding yourself to keep those shoulders down. PS - Still thinking about MLK Jr. today and his message of peaceful resistance even though I’m working. PPS - My phone, however, is barely working in this frigid weather. #winter#winterinnyc#winterinnewyorkcity#winterfashion#winterwear#massagetherapist#massagetherapistlife
